October 30th Webinar – Food Security and the Agri-Food System

Our popular winter webinar series returns, free and open to all, covering topics on the latest development pressures on farmland, innovative solutions, strategies in stewarding farmland, and ways you can get involved locally.

Farmland is the foundation of Ontario’s agri-food system, supporting local economies, food production, and the long-term resilience of our communities. This session will explore why protecting farmland is essential to a thriving agri-food sector, with a focus on how the Greenbelt supports agricultural productivity, economic growth, and food security.

The session will also examine how strengthening local food production and distribution can help improve equitable access to healthy, locally grown food.
