Species at Risk on Farms: What you Might See and How to Find Them
Farms can be incredible habitats for many species, including those at risk. Join the Ontario Farmland Trust for an in-depth exploration of some of the key species at risk you might encounter on Ontario farms. In this webinar, we’ll review the habitats where these species thrive, how to identify them, and actions you can take to help protect them.
Our expert speaker, Meghan Morey, is an ecologist at Blazing Star Environmental. With a deep-rooted passion for conservation and a wealth of hands-on experience, Meagan brings a unique blend of scientific expertise and practical insight into species at risk. At Blazing Star Environmental, she contributes to a variety of research projects centered on species at risk conservation and recovery.
Whether you’re a farmer, landowner, or simply passionate about protecting Ontario’s natural heritage, this session will provide valuable insights into fostering biodiversity on working farmlands.
