It is with mixed emotions that we let you know that Kathryn, our Executive Director, will be leaving OFT to begin a new position with the charitable organization Swim Drink Fish as their new Chief Operating Officer!
Kathryn has been with OFT since 2016, and has been a driving force behind OFT’s growth. She has worked hard to grow our protected land base from just over 1000 acres to over 2300 acres in her time with us.
Kathryn has acted as an amazing mentor to many of our new staff, interns, and summer students, and her expertise has helped make OFT the organization that it is today. All of OFT’s staff, board members, and volunteers would like to say a big thank you to Kathryn. While we will miss you dearly we are very excited to see what the future brings you. Thank you for your dedication to farmland protection over the past 6 years. Congratulations on your new position Kathryn!
In Kathryn’s absence, we will still be working hard to protect more of Ontario’s valuable farmland. Thank you to all of our supporters for your continued support during this time of transition!
