Our Land-Linking and Farmland Conservation workshop series is back!
In partnership with the National Farmers Union of Ontario this workshop series is for farmers and aspiring farmers of all ages and career stages. Join us from 7:00- 9:00pm on Thursday, Nov. 4th, Nov.11 th & Nov. 18 th for a 3-part workshop series!
Many attendees last winter requested additional topics for future workshops, and so we are happy to announce the following workshops based on your feedback! Our fall workshops will include:
Thursday, Nov. 4 – BIPOC Land Opportunities

Thursday, Nov. 11 – Land Partnerships & Collaboration

Thursday, Nov. 18 – Farm Financing & Business Planning
Featuring: Sally Miller, Program Manager, at Fair Finance Fund & Isabelle Rodé, Owner/Operator, at Vintage Soil Farm

- Succession models, including non-family succession and cooperatives.
- Farmland conservation options, including Conservation Easements and Land Trusts.
- Support and resources for new farmers.
All workshops are free to attend and will be held online. Registration is required and all registrants will be sent the Zoom link to join in advance of the workshop(s).
