It is with mixed emotions that we let you know that Krista, our Program Manager, has entered a new position with National Farmer’s Union – Ontario (NFU-O) as their Executive Director! At NFU-O, she will continue to use her passions for family farms, farmland protection, local food, and nature to work towards important issues in the agricultural sector.
Many of you probably know Krista, she has been a force behind the scenes of OFT for almost seven years. From running many of our programs, organizing Farmland Forums, working with summer students, and always helping to make sure our donors know how much of an impact they make, Krista has been an integral part of OFT’s team. Over the years, Krista has witnessed OFT grow from protecting just over 800 acres of farmland and natural habitat to over 1600 acres! We would like to say a big thank you to Krista for all of her work over the years, she has helped bring OFT to where we are today.
While we are sad to see you go, we are excited to see what your future has in store. Congratulations on your new position, Krista!
