Meet our newest Farmland Program Assistant
OFT is pleased to welcome its newest Farmland Program Assistant to the team for a work placement during the months of July and into August. Andrew is excited to contribute to the promotion and advancement of OFT’s mission. He will be a representative of OFT at community events. He will also be working on fundraising opportunities, farmland research, and general office duties.
Andrew completed his fourth semester at Sir Sandford Fleming College for Environmental Technology this year. He has experience working in agriculture and has strong family roots in rural Dufferin County. He is excited to be a part of the OFT team, and to gain valuable work experience within a not-for-profit organization in the environmental sector. He acknowledges the importance of supporting land conservation practices to protect the province’s best farmlands. During his time with OFT Andrew plans to promote our mission and to make a difference in his farming community.
